Movin Blues
So we officially have all our stuff out of the apartment. I'd take some pictures if I could remember where the camera is packed.
With the help of my lovely friends Chris and Candy added to the muscle strength of James we moved all the furniture out of the house and into the Uhaul. We left our TV and a mattress for us to camp out on until we have to have the apartment cleaned and moved out of on Sunday.
The boys were super troopers getting all the heavy stuff down the stairs. My tiny muscles were not of too much assistance with the heavy stuff. I did try though. Toulouse was also very distressed to be locked in the bathroom and complained (loudly) about it. After loading it all up into the Uhaul we headed down to the ABF U-Pack drop to get all of our stuff in our tiny shipping container. James and Chris worked it out lovely and everything fit with room to spare.
We then headed over to our storage unit to fit the remainders in the unit. My favorite moment was when Candy and I came across James and Chris running (literally) down the hall with a couch yelling "Go! Go! We have to get the Uhaul back by 7!" It was pure comedy. My second favorite moment was James groaning "This is never going to fit!" and my reply "Yee of little faith"
True to my word Candy and I tetrised all the furniture in there with room to spare and the boys burned rubber back to Uhaul to screech into the parking lot at 6:55.
We then hit up the local Mexican restaurant for margaritas and cheese filled stuff. We limped home to collapse on our mattress on the floor and examine bruises/bumps/weird marks.
We are so very thankful for great friends!
