Family Update- February

The Campbell's in general are humming along as usual. My hair is still dark for the moment. James is still working a bunch and trying not to tear his knee off in the process. We are making a big push to be more outdoorsy. After my surgery and the subsequent house arrest we got out of the habit of leaving the house because we couldn't. That is over now and the kids a old enough to be on the go. So out we go and off we go!

Fox

He finally started walking! At 14 1/2 months he finally pulled the trigger and is now a walking machine. He's still a little unsteady and getting used to shoes but overall doing well. My heart bursts watching him toddle around the house. I can't believe my baby is so big.

Quick Milestones:
* Still on formula/almond milk blend. And a lot of it. This kid loves him some milk.
*Still on/off on sleeping through the night. If anything is off- teeth, illness, full moon- this guy is yelling about it. When he does sleep he is sleeping in a bit until 6-6:30 which is nice.
*Eats ok. Main fav foods are avocados, bananas, pasta and crackers. I die a little every meal.
*This kid is skinny. I mean skinny. We're saving money by never having to buy new clothes since he can still wear his 6-12 month clothes. Regular 12 month pants are way too big at the waist and need a safety pin.
*No real words yet. Just babbling mama, dada, baba & nana.

Bee

Chicky is chugging along and continues to be a hoot. She's just really getting funny. Still trying when it comes to tantrums and such but overall getting better. Enjoys a good movie, a trip to a restaurant (specifically mexican food,) lots of time outside, sweets and her grandparents. Basically she is her mother's child.

Quick Milestones:
*Its still a no on potty training. We're the tortoise in this story.
*Eats like a horse, eats most everything presented. Bless her.
*Still enjoying the confines of her crib. No one will shame her out of the crib so don't try.
*Is still little. Ask her. She'll tell you.
*Is putting on her own shoes and working on getting dressed. Finally. And this has come by force.

 Don't be fooled by that bed. It's been in her room for over a year. We just read on it and change diapers on it. Maybe she'll sleep in it one day.
