April Family Update
Happy Easter and Happy Spring! The Campbell's have had quite a busy month.
I have been having a great time spending more time with baby bee lately since I'm working less. Most weeks I'm working 3 days a week and home the rest of the time. It's been a nice and it's given us more family times since James has been working more. I have been enjoying the late spring weather, avoiding cooking at all costs and bemoaning the fact that it is time to wear shorts again.
James has also had a busy busy month. The summary of his month includes work, work, work & being followed around by his #2 fan, Bee. His base at work just moved from Tucson down to St. David so it's been quite the task to get everything set up. Bee has become obsessed with James' helicopter who she calls "Gachula." She wants to Facetime with it, points at them in the sky and plays with her toy one. Its freaking awesome.
Bee has had a pretty good month. She does great in the church nursery and doesn't cry when dropped off. We find her stealing the crying children's goldfish when we arrive to pick her up. She did great hunting Easter Eggs in the back yard. So she's a gem most of the time other than throwing epic tantrums when she doesn't get her way around the times of 8a-9a and 6p-7p. The tantrums are almost solely about two thing- her pacifier or her coconut milk. Sigh. We're not ready to get rid of the pacifier yet but I get closer with every pathetic whine of "paci."
The big points
Sleeping- Still taking two naps and showing no signs of wanting to move to 1 nap. She does pretty well sleeping at night and not whining too much before her green light comes on.
Eating- Toddler eating. Sigh. Still becoming increasingly picky. Not really wild about meat and still can't have dairy. So she's the toddler vegan. She's discovered "dip" which is anything to dip a french fry or a chip into. Could be guacamole or ketchup. Loves it. Typical.
Talking- And talking and talking. She's starting to string together words like "Help Mommy," "Ready, set, go!" and "1,2,3, yayyyyy." She adds words everyday but seems to have forgotten how to say "Please." I'm suspect of this.
In other Bee news, she's moved up from little froggies 1 to little froggies 2 in her swim classes. She's doing so well and she's very motivated when she's in class. She loves swinging, goldfish and Bubble Guppies. As well as taking rides in her stroller, cuddling on the couch after she wakes up and carting around her favorite sleep items "Kitty and Manket" aka the stuffed cat and her blanket.
